Sunday December 4th – Week 5 at Hull Sharks
The #5 ranked Sheffield Hallam Warriors (3-0) will be in Hull to take on the #9 ranked University of Hull Sharks (3-0) on Sunday, in what some are describing as “the game of the year… so far”.
“We’re looking forward to it,” Warriors Head Coach, Richard Batty said of the game. “Hull know what to expect from us, we played them last year. It was a good hard game, we know what to expect from them.”
The encounter this season is the seventh meeting between the teams, the fourth in four years and may possibly be the last regular season contest as we face BUAFL realignment in the already overcrowded Northern Conference. Read the rest…

Hallam continue to Pyle up Wins
Sheffield Hallam, the nation’s no.3 ranked team, winners of 15 of their 16 regular season games and victims of a food-poisoning pandemic, headed across Yorkshire to face the unranked Huddersfield Hawks. After falling agonisingly short of the hundred points mark last week against Lancaster, the Hallam Warriors went a step further on Sunday scoring over one hundred unanswered points on the Huddersfield Hawks to record BUAFL’s highest score since adopting 12 minute quarters, 105-0. Sunday November 27th – Week 4 at Huddersfield Hawks The #5 ranked Sheffield Hallam Warriors (2-0) will be heading across to Huddersfield to take on the Huddersfield Hawks (0-1). The game will be a tough challenge for both teams; Hallam will look to maintain their momentum heading into a possible ‘top of the division’ clash with Hull next week while Huddersfield to avoid another embarrassing loss at the hands of the reigning champions.
